Greta and Ted Rasmussen GRADES: K-6 20 learning task cards; 5.5 x 4.25 in. (These four cards are examples from different Discover! card sets. The difficulty level and type of questions is similar in each card set.) A regular grocery bag is appropriate for this set of challenges. Perferably, thers should not be advertising messages on it--the plainer the better. The only other item needed is a magnifying glass. Each card set offers 20 subjective thinking prompts. Conceptual, visual, and tactile questions prompt synthesis, concrete manipulation, and deductive thinking. The cards are valuable for learning centers as students can work independently. An answer card is included with each deck.
